About the Workshop

Our Make-Your-Own Gin Class is perfect for gin enthusiasts, curious beginners, and anyone with a passion for craft spirits. Whether you're looking for a unique outing with friends, a team-building activity, or a special celebration, our 2-hour class promises an unforgettable experience that will deepen your appreciation for gin.

Tickets are $106.19 before HST.

The Experience

1. Introduction to Gin: The class begins with a history-lesson-tasting-flight. Guests will taste the evolution of gin, learning how this iconic spirit evolved from its medicinal origins to become one of the world's most beloved and versatile spirits.

2. The Art of Distillation: Guests will then step into Spirit of York's Distillery for a tour, their Welcome Gin & Tonic in hand. The tour guide will teach you about the distillation process, deepening your understanding of how spirits go from grain-to-glass, and what makes gin, gin.

3. Crafting Your Own Gin:
Armed with newfound knowledge of spirits, you'll experiment with the flavour profiles found in gin. Once happy with your custom recipe, they will get to mix, bottle and name their creation.

4. Take Home Your Creation:
At the end of the master class, you'll leave with your very own handcrafted bottle of gin, complete with a personalized label. It's a tangible reminder of your experience at Spirit of York that you'll get to enjoy over & over again. If you run out, no worries! You can always send us an email, and we'll blend you a new bottle for you to pick-up.
